Live painting, in watercolour, at Bursledon Regatta 2018. The Swanwick Bursledon & Warsash Regatta with a theme this year of “Australia- Down Under”. Lots of fun with a large turn out, summer weather and antics on the water.
….and there were fireworks! :0
Also celebrating the eighteenth birthday of my nephew, Felix, today! Happy Birthday Felix! Hip hip!
* I enjoyed painting watercolours from the riverside footpath, between The Ship Inn at Swanwick and The Rising Sun in Warsash, today. Not far from Universal Marina, the views of the Hamble River here are spectacular.
The wreck, shown, is taken to be that of the Brixham trawler, William Allen.
Classes are taking a break for August and will resume in the first week of September.
If you would like learn to paint and draw yourself, Dummer Afternoon Art Club resumes, weekly, on Thursday 6th September and has capacity for two additional members.
Alternatively, I run a larger class in Winchester, on Wednesday afternoons. There will be new starters of all abilities in Winchester on 5th September. A third option is to join classes on a Tuesday, in Sway, in the New Forest.
