Watercolour painting lessons with Kirstin White include instruction on how best to use and be imaginative with watercolour paint.
The Watercolour Painting Class Martyr Worthy (5) is for you if you like to learn as a member of a sociable and enthusiastic group. The lessons are themed, focused, and enjoyable. With support from the tutor, you will complete simple exercises, create finished paintings, and have fun with your painting ideas.
From May, when the weather allowed, the group began painting outdoors, en-plein-air. Before Christmas, we worked on a variety of still-life projects. Since the New Year, we were inspired by the work of Henri Matisse to paint three very different pictures. From February 2022 we were looking at studio landscapes in watercolour. Before Easter, we learnt something about drawing in perspective. New members of this group will want to know that, yes, with a different twist, we will revisit these subjects in future!
For the intermediate course, you will need to already have the items on the list below:-
Beginners are accepted into this group. A beginner’s pack of materials and equipment is included in the price of a beginners’ course. You may also like to consider one of the ‘Beginner Level Saturday Workshops’ that are held on occasional Saturdays throughout the year in Martyr Worthy Village Hall, near Winchester from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.
